So I never thought I’d have a Blog. My wonderful husband, Zale has been trying to talk me into doing one for a while now. But I didn’t think I would have the time. What with having a 14 year old son, a 2 and a half year old daughter, and a 7 month old daughter that I’m nursing. Then a friend of ours from church, Jason Elkins, started a blog that I contributed a few stories to. (TransparentChristianMagazine) After coming up with more to write than what I thought, I figured I’d give mine a shot. So here it is.

Now, back to VISTA. I’ve been using a Sony Vaio that my (awesome) Dad gave me a couple of years ago. It’s been a good laptop, one I’ve been very grateful to have! But, I think it’s run its course. It can’t be used without being plugged in (even though we’ve tried a new battery) and there are times that it takes several tries to get it booted up. So, last night my wonderful husband bought me a new laptop.

I’ve never used Vista before. In fact for the last year or so I’ve been completely spoiled by Linux. We get my new laptop home and I couldn’t believe how slow and how annoying Vista was. Out of frustration I finally looked at my husband and said forget it, let me know when you’ve got Linux loaded on it, and then I’ll use it. I am not the “techie” in the house, so anytime something has to be done to the computers it’s turned over to him. And at times my Dad is our consultant .

I am looking forward to the freedom of using my laptop the way it was intended to be used, meaning anywhere!! And I hope this blog will bring you laughter and enjoyment for a long time! (Powered by Linux….NOT VISTA!!!)
