I’ve blogged before that I’ve never been one to do the MySpace thing, other than finding a few friends. Late last week a friend sent me an invite to join his “Mob”. It’s a game on Myspace called Mobster. I’ve never really been one to play computer or video games other than the occasional game of spider solitaire or maybe a game of Snood. But this game sucked me in. And it’s a mobster game, what is wrong with me? For a couple of days I was hooked. I stayed up until 2:30 in the morning playing. Crazy!
So I decided that since I don’t have any self control I needed to just stop playing. I sent a message to my “Mob” partner to see if there’s a way to give him my property, money, and all the weapons in my stockpile. I’m just going to have to delete it from my MySpace page, because it keeps sucking me in…..and I have to sleep!!! I can’t chase two little girls and be exhausted from playing this game at the same time!! It just doesn’t work. So Good Bye Mobster, it’s time for me to go back to being a civilized citizen.

I admit the game is fun, but I want to return to my life. I do not feel that it is right to have a game in limbo, because the creators of mobsters do not feel that deleting the acct. entirely is necessary.
I feel that deleting the acct. entirely is absolutley necessary; indentity theft is on the rise, people are being harassed, and the human right of free will if being rejected from us. Yes, you can remove the app. from myspace, but the acct. is still there; just not on myspace.
If someone doesn’t do anything about this I have a feeling something bad is going to happen and the creators will be forced by law to offer the option of deleting accts.
I have no issues with this game for except that fact that we are no allowed to cancel the acct. completely; it is wrong and I feel tht noone should make me keep acct.
