We didn’t quite go all out for Reagan’s cake this year like we did Hannah’s Dora cake. I figured she’s not going to remember anyway. I couldn’t really find a cake specific for a 1st birthday without going to a real bakery, instead of one in a grocery store. Since I completely lost track of time this year and forgot to order a cake until 3 or 4 days before the party, I settled for this one. The head of the caterpillar is a rattle, and she does like Baby Einstein and Little Einstein.
The cutest thing was a little cupcake they threw in with the cake that Reagan could devour all by herself. And devour she did. I wasn’t sure if she would eat it or not. But within seconds she had blue icing up her nose and within minutes there were only crumbs left of the cupcake. A big thanks to Nichole (our neighbor) who graciously took our camera and got all kinds of pictures for us!! They all turned out great!
The cake was good too. Sometimes a store bought cake looks better than it tastes, but this one was pretty good. Chocolate, of course.
I bought it from a local family owned grocery store. The customer service was great and the cake was even ready hours early!

I LOVE her cake!! Mom and Dad were saying how she gobbled up her own little cake and how precious it was. I’m impressed girl, I will plan weeks ahead and still only manage a store bought cake:) That’s why I’m glad Susannah is my neighbor!
Cute cake! Makes me hungry…I suppose I shouldn’t blog late on a Saturday night.
