Big God

This was e mailed to me in 2000 by a very dear friend. I found it a week or so ago as I was looking through boxes from the attic and thought it should be shared. Hope it blesses and encourages you as it did me.

This is a story about a little girl who, on the way home from church, turned to her mother and and said, “Mommy, the Preacher’s sermon this morning confused me.”

The mother said, “Oh! Why is that?”

The girl replied, “Well, he said that God is bigger that we are. Is that true?”

“Yes, that’s true.” the mother replied.

“He also said that God lives within us. Is that true too?”

Again the mother replied, “Yes”.

“Well,” said the girl. “If God is bigger than us and He lives in us, wouldn’t He show through?”

And another wonderful quote I heard from one of my woman’s LifeGroups this week (don’t have a clue who originally said this one either) is this:

“Don’t tell God how big your storm is, tell the storm how big your God is!”

Blessings in Him!
