blogging

So as my domain is about to expire, I debated on whether or not I wanted to keep the blog. When I started this almost 2 years ago I had lots to say and post about, but over the last few months I just can’t seem to think of things to write. Which is crazy, because if I just blogged the conversations the girls have every day I could probably write a book.

I was sending an e mail to Zale to ask him to print out everything I’ve written before I shut it down ( just so I’d have a hard copy in case the kids ever wanted to read it in later years), when I realized I’m not quite ready to let it go. Hopefully I’ll be inspired more in the upcoming days and months so it won’t go to waste.

Thanks to all who read this and I’ll try to make sure to blog more often. Hopefully to inspire someone, or at least make you laugh every now and then.

Parent’s Night

Tonight was Parent’s night at Anthony’s school to hear about all the things the students need to do next year (their senior year) to get ready for college. Is any parent ever really ready for their kids to leave home? Zale said it’s the goal, to get the kids out of the house before we die. (ha ha)

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want them living at home when they’re 30. I want them to go out into the world and make lives for themselves. Hopefully with a heart for God. But that doesn’t mean I like that they have to leave to do it!

This fall is going to be a tough one for me, and I’m not sure what is affecting me the most. Anthony starting his senior year of high school, or Hannah starting Kindergarten.

So many changes in the upcoming months, I don’t know that I’m ready for any of it. Definitely going to need God’s help!!
